Wilder Volatility

The Wilder Volatility Index, developed by Welles Wilder, is an arithmetic volatility indicator based on the True Range, not statistics like ( Historical Volatility ). The Wilder Volatility Index is always positive and is calculated on the High-Low difference of each bar. It can be used as research or evaluation of more or less volatile financial instruments.
