Deribit – Charts updates

How to update the Charts with Deribit

Deribit allows a subscription of real-time data named “raw”, ie “not grouped”. From our experience we have seen that sometimes, despite the request for a “raw” subscription, the data received still presents groupings. To meet the needs of beeTrader clients, we have introduced 2 different ways of receiving data.

Broker updated chart (recommended)

The choice “Broker updated chart” is the recommended one. In this update mode, the historical bars on beeTrader will always be identical to those present on the Deribit web platform.

The disadvantage is the presence of a delay of a few tenths of a second in receiving the real-time ticks.

Chart updated every tick

The choice “Chart updated every tick” has the advantage of supporting Time Frames not available on the Deribit web platform, such as Tick and Contract Time Frames. The reception of this data does not present delays, but it may differ in the construction of the graphic bars if compared with those visible on the Deribit web platform.
