Use and Interpretation
The beeTrader watchlist Beta function allows, given a basket of assets, to have the calculation of the Beta and of the Correlation referring to an asset to be selected, usually the index to which the selected assets belong.
In the example shown, the assets that make up the FTSE MIB 40 index have been added to the watchlist, and the FTSE MIB 40 Index has therefore been selected as the reference index. In the selection window of the reference asset it is also necessary to set the desired timeframe and the number of historical bars. These parameters are also automatically reported on the watchlist.
